Overview cometogethr is a location-based social networking application that lets you join and create groups of people with mutual interests, view their location on the map, contact or meet them and share content.
No more constantly updating your buddy list, every new member of your groups is instantly displayed on the map both on mobile device and website. The system consists of a GPS-enabled mobile phone or a mobile phone with an external Bluetooth GPS receiver, an installed cometogethr application, a website with a map client and backend servers. cometogethr moved up to the final judging of the 2008 NAVTEQ® Global LBS Challenge™ as a semifinalist in the Social Networking category for the European division.
