Global LBS Challenge 2008 
APAC Region
As a third time competitor, AtlasCT moved to the final round of the LBS Challenge in the Navigation category for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
The chosen application was City Cruiser, an advanced off-board GPS navigation application for mobile phones.
This year marks the first Challenge dedicated to the APAC region.  Registrations were received from 27 different countries and set a record for total number of registrations for one region. From the received applications only twelve advanced to the final judging.
The final round judging of the NAVTEQ®  Global LBS Challenge™ was held during the CommunicAsia in Singapore, on June 2008.

LBS08 Semifinalist APAC

EMEA Region
As a second time competitor, AtlasCT moved to the final round of the LBS Challenge in the Social Networking category for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
The chosen application was cometogethr, a location-based social networking application.
This is the third year for the Challenge in the EMEA region. Over 316 companies registered for this year’s Challenge globally, of which twelve advanced to the final judging in the European division.
The final round judging of the NAVTEQ  Global LBS Challenge was held during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on February 2008.

Global LBS Challenge 2007
As first time contestant, AtlasCT won the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge as Social Networking Application category winner for the European region.
The winning application was reLive!™, a unique and handy leisure application, which allows you to take photos and write notes along your trip route, and seamlessly attach them to their locations on the map (geo-tagging).
The Challenge is an annual competition designed to stimulate the LBS industry by encouraging application developers from around the world to build innovative location-based service (LBS) applications that work with portable devices using wireless technology and NAVTEQ maps.
Over 340 companies registered for the Challenge globally, of which 9 semifinalists advanced to the final judging held during the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, on February 2007.
